Main Entrance and Foyer
Entrance to the main hall is through the foyer, off which are also the ladies & gents toilets,  suitable for use by the disabled, and a cloakroom with a baby changing unit.

Main Hall
The main hall is light and airy with windows down two sides and measures approximately 35’ x 50’. It has a sprung wooden floor with a full sized Badminton court measured out. In addition, at one end is a large raised stage, fully equipped with curtains and stage lighting and a piano is available for use.  In addition to 150 upholstered chairs, there are  24 children’s size chairs and a further 100 plastic stacking chairs. There are 28 tables with folding legs, each measuring 6’ x 2’3”, a further 4 large tables, 4 smaller tables and 4 children’s height tables.

The official number of people that may be admitted to functions are:-
For dancing with some tables and chairs – 200
For dining restaurant style all seated at tables – 140
Formal closely seated audience as per approved plan – 235, or 6 wheelchairs and attendants and 220 chairs

Bar Area
Off the main hall is the bar area, with a purpose built bar housing its own sink, fridge and large plumbed-in urn for tea/coffee etc. Please note that although the bar is not stocked, you are welcome to bring in your own alcohol provided that you obtain the relevant licence from the Borough if necessary. There is a first aid box situated in this area next to the fire exit.

Kitchen
Next to the bar area is the kitchen, which was re-fitted in January 2005. Although not intended to cope with mass catering, the facilities include: 3 sinks (one for hand washing); full height fridge; microwave; 1000cm electric range cooker with 2 ovens, griddle, 4 hobs and separate grill; electric kettles; urns; cups and saucers for at least 50; varying other items of crockery and cutlery; saucepans and oven trays etc. The kitchen looks out over the playing fields and the children’s playground.

Committee Room
There is a small committee room at the rear measuring approx 10’6” x 11’, to which entry can be gained independently of the main hall which has its own conference table and chairs; this room will seat 8 people comfortably with access to the kitchen and toilets at any time without disturbing other hirers. A whiteboard is mounted on the wall.


Children’s Play Area
Completely redeveloped in July 2005, the playground now has exciting new equipment ideal for 3-8 year olds, together with ample seating and two picnic tables. Best of all the play area is separate from the hall and children are free to play on the equipment at any time.

There is an all-weather MUGA. (Multi Usage Games Area) fitted with a 5-a-side football goal, a netball or basketball hoop and a cricket wicket. There are lines drawn for practising football and basketball. This is suitable for children of all ages but is primarily aimed at the 8 to 18 year-olds of either sex.

Tennis Court
There is also a recently-refurbished tennis court, available for regular and occasional use.
